Miss O . Edmonton Boudoir

Session with Miss O was the fastest one hour ever. She is super photogenic, I am still not convinced that she’s not a model. And those lashes…they’re 100% real! I love her make-up, she wanted to get the pin-up look and she looks amazing thanks to Madeliene, the make-up artist extraordinaire.

Rouge Secrets Revealed

Well, they’re not really secrets, but I thought some of you may find this post insightful. Here is the general step-by-step process that I use during the editing sessions. Of course there are minor differences in the editing treatments used between outdoor vs. indoor, boudoir vs. family and portrait vs. interior photography. I used one of the photos from the self portrait session last summer…yes, that me :-)

Before and after (final result)

Step 1: Adjust lighting, balance and color

Step 2: Improving skin texture

Step 3: Removing spots and imperfections

Step 4: Color treatment as necessary (sepia, black and white, etc)

There you have it :-) I believe that these simple steps didn’t create beauty, but they help bring out the beauty underneath.

You don’t need to be touched up… you are amazing looking.

Thanks Amanda :) A little touch-up goes a long way.

It is amazing what you can do, and you look absolutely gorgeous.

Life . Princess Cassie

One of the greatest thing about living in Edmonton is when it’s freezing out, we can have an indoor photoshoot at the world’s largest mall and not look like they’re photos in a mall (almost). A couple weeks ago, I spent a lovely Sunday afternoon with Billy, Leanna and their super adorable little princess, Cassie. Leanna and I used to work together, she is also the woman running the show at Little Blossom. Check out their cute collections.

Valentine Boudoir . Calgary

Love is in the air… This is a little sneak peek into our Valentine Boudoir session in Calgary. It was an estrogen filled day with gorgeous make-up, hair sprays and a sexy photoshoot. I can’t think of a better way to spend a winter afternoon.

As always, Cynthia and Carol did an outstanding job on make-up and hair styling (Create Your Drama).

Bodacious Boudoir . Miss B

This was one of those sessions that I had been looking forward to for a while. I met Miss B in the summer for the . love . session and managed to convinced her to join our boudoir photo session in Edmonton. She is so much fun to work with and she is so pretty :)
